Oleksandr Usyk Betting, Odds & Fights – Bet on The Cat at Parimatch

It’s fair to introduce Oleksandr Usyk as one of the greatest boxers ever. The Ukrainian heavyweight champion is an Olympic gold medallist and has won all of his professional fights to date.

He is the only male boxer in the four-belt era to become a three-time undisputed champion, having won undisputed championships in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.

He has twice defeated Anthony Joshua, Daniel Dubois, and Tyson Fury in the ring, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest pound-for-pound boxers of his generation. Now 24-0 with 15 KOs, Usyk returns to the ring on 23 May 2026 in a WBC heavyweight title defence against kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.

So, who exactly is Usyk, what’s his record, and how do you bet on him in his upcoming fights? Join us as we look into The Cat's recent career and learn how to bet on Usyk today at Parimatch Sportsbook.

Who is Oleksandr Usyk?

Usyk has held unified heavyweight world titles since 2024 and the Ring magazine heavyweight title since 2024, having previously been the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era. He currently holds the WBC, WBA and IBF titles after vacating his WBO belt in 2025. Nicknamed ‘The Cat,’ he has won all his professional fights and also won gold medals as an amateur at the 2011 World Championships and 2012 Olympics.

Though starting as a cruiserweight, Usyk moved up to the heavyweight division in 2019, which enabled him to take on and defeat world champion Anthony Joshua to secure the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles.

In May 2024, Usyk beat Tyson Fury in their eagerly anticipated WBC title fight to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

He successfully retained his titles in a rematch against Fury in December 2024, before knocking out Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in July 2025 to reclaim undisputed status for the second time. He has since vacated the WBO title but remains the world's leading heavyweight, defending the WBC strap against Rico Verhoeven in May 2026.

Unified Heavyweight Champion: Usyk v Joshua

After becoming the undisputed cruiserweight champion, Usyk announced his desire to move up to the heavyweight class to take on Joshua, which he confirmed after his win over Derek Chisora in 2020.

Usyk faced Anthony Joshua for the first time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, defeating the English champion in a stunning upset and outboxing the Englishman to claim a unanimous decision victory.

The pair agreed to a rematch in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, scheduled for August 2022. Though Joshua caused Usyk more problems than in their 2021 fight, the Ukrainian won by split decision in the first defence of his world heavyweight title.

In August 2023, in Poland, Usyk defeated Daniel Dubois to defend his unified heavyweight titles. He overcame a low blow in the fifth round to win in the ninth.

Undisputed Heavyweight Champion: Usyk v Fury

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, hosted the undisputed heavyweight title fight between Usyk and Tyson Fury in May 2024.

In a predictably controversial fight, Usyk beat Fury by split decision in Riyadh, making him the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

Though he seemed to be on the back foot, Usyk mounted an incredible comeback in the later rounds of his fight against Fury. He put the Gypsy King under severe pressure, landing lots of blows in the ninth, which would ultimately win him the fight.

The pair met for a second time just before Christmas 2024 in one of the most anticipated heavyweight rematches in boxing history.

Again, Usyk had too much for Fury, this time winning by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the fight 116-112 in the Ukrainian’s favour, despite Fury believing he did enough to win the fight.

Undisputed at Wembley: Usyk v Dubois II

By defeating Daniel Dubois via a fifth-round KO at Wembley Stadium in July 2025, Usyk became only the second two-time undisputed heavyweight champion since Muhammad Ali, highlighting the enormity of his achievement.

It was the second meeting between Usyk and Dubois, following their 2023 bout in Wroclaw, Poland, in which Usyk won via a ninth-round KO.

Usyk vs Verhoeven: Glory in Giza

Usyk's next fight is one of the most unusual heavyweight title bouts in recent memory. On 23 May 2026, the Ukrainian defends his WBC heavyweight title against Dutch kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, on a Ring magazine card billed as Glory in Giza and streamed worldwide on DAZN.

Verhoeven (66-10 in kickboxing, 1-0 in professional boxing) is widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight kickboxers of all time, holding the Glory heavyweight title for more than 11 years with 14 successful title defences. However, his only professional boxing bout came back in 2014, making this a significant step up in class against a pound-for-pound great.
