Sixteen teams have qualified for the tournament, with Portugal entering the Euros as the defending champions and Spain looking for their eighth title.  

These two European giants occupy second and third place in the FIFA futsal rankings, just behind Brazil, the world’s best futsal team. 

Going into this year’s Euros, Italy and Russia are the only other nations ranked in the top ten of FIFA’s futsal rankings, so they could be good options if you’re looking for value in the outright winner market.  

Here’s how the groups look ahead of the 2026 Futsal Euros:  

• Group A: Latvia (co-hosts), Croatia, Georgia, France  
• Group B: Lithuania (co-hosts), Armenia, Czechia, Ukraine

All matches will be played in the following host cities:

The top two teams at the end of the group stage will advance to the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals.  

A third-placed match between the losing semi-finalists is scheduled to take place before the final, which will be held at Ljubljana’s Arena Stozice.
