The objective of the game strays from standard slot rules. Rather than matching various symbols on paylines, you must complete circuits to score payouts in this unique game. This is done by lining up pathways on the symbols to ensure they create a closed loop. The more involved, the higher your reward.
To start playing, choose your bet per spin using the buttons in the control panel beneath the grid. You can scroll through your options, from 10p upwards. Once satisfied, hit the green spin button to unleash a cascade of circuit symbols onto the grid.
Spark of Genius Symbols & Payouts
Circuit symbols come in three sizes: ones with two, three, or four paths. The more paths, the easier it is to connect to neighbouring symbols.
There are also two special symbols on the grid: the special Circuit Symbol, a four-way connector that appears during the Dynamo Feature, and the Destroy Symbol, an orange hazard warning sign that appears during the Overload Feature.
Payouts are awarded when four or more circuit symbols connect and close a circuit. The larger the circuit, the more you win, as per the paytable below:

Spark of Genius Bonus Features
The bonus features centre around the Energy Charger at the top of the grid, which fills with energy collected from creating closed circuits.
Cascades Feature
All circuit symbols involved in a winning combo that connects completely to close the circuit are removed from the grid. A cascade of new symbols will then fall from above, potentially creating more completed circuits and triggering a chain reaction.
Energy Charger
The Energy Charger has two energy types: MANIFEST and RESONANT. Collect winning circuits to charge the Energy Charger on the relevant side to match the energy. Upon reaching certain checkpoints on the meter, a corresponding feature will activate.
The Energy Charger resets between spins, so the easiest way to activate features is a chain reaction of cascades. The two energy types oppose each other, like AC/DC, so you need enough to push one side all the way over to the checkpoint.
MAINFEST Energy
There are three checkpoints on each side, which trigger one at a time:
- Relay: 15 winning circuits trigger the relay feature, randomly removing 7 and 11 circuit symbols from the grid.
- Overload: 25 winning circuits trigger the overload feature, adding between two and six destroy symbols to remove random circuit symbols.
- Empire Energy Spin: You need 35 winning circuits to reach this final checkpoint, earning a free spin. A 2x2 transformer with an x3 multiplier with four connection points appears in the centre of the grid for the spin. It activates when a closed circuit connects to it, increasing its multiplier by up to x20 based on the number of closed circuit connections. The multiplier applies to all wins for the feature.
RESONANT Energy
The three checkpoints on the RESONANT side activate the following features:
- Gyrota: After the first 15 winning connections, Gyrota activates and randomly rotates three to seven circuit symbols.
- Dynamo: Collecting 25 winning circuits activates the next checkpoint, which adds two to six special circuit symbols to the grid with four connection points.
- Free Energy Spin: The final checkpoint triggers a Free Energy Spin. With each win in this feature, the multiplier increases with the following values: x1, x4, x8, x12, x20. On a non-winning cascade, the Gyrota and Dynamo features will occur one after the other.
