The game is played on a 5x5 grid encased in gold and set against a snowy forest background. You can see Santa to the side of the reels, and the game’s logo above. The reels are filled with toys, Christmas trees, candy canes, and other festive treats.
Game controls are minimal: the hamburger menu leads you to the game rules and paytable, and the plus and minus buttons on the spin button let you toggle through your betting options and set your wager. When you’re ready to proceed, hit spin to start your session.
Xmas Drop Symbols & Payouts
The objective of the game is to land matching symbols along predefined paylines to score payouts.
The reels are filled with low-paying royals and colourful Christmas-themed images perfectly rendered in Hacksaw’s signature style. In addition, there are two wild symbols, one a gift, and one shaped like Santa’s head. Both offer 25x payouts for matching five of a kind on a payline.
The only other bonus symbol on the grid is a free spins scatter symbol, represented by a snow globe with the word ‘FS’ written inside. You need at least three to enter the bonus game.

Wild Santa Symbol
Wild Santa symbols will expand to help create winning combos. Expanded Wild Santa symbols count as wild on every position that they cover. Wild Santa symbols that do not expand are counted as a single wild symbol.
Wild Santa symbols only expand downward, toward the bottom of the grid. Each reel can have only one wild symbol at any one time.
Wild Gift Symbol
If a Wild Santa symbol expands through a Wild Gift symbol, it turns into a random multiplier that is applied to the whole expanded Wild Santa area. Wild Gift multipliers can have values ranging from 2x to 200x.
If a winning combo includes more than one expanded Wild Santa with a multiplier, the multiplier values are added together before being applied to your winning payout.
Night Before Xmas Bonus
Land three FS scatter symbols in the base game to gain entry to the Night Before Xmas bonus game with ten free spins. In this bonus, you have a better chance of landing Wild Santa and Wild Gift symbols. Landing three FS scatters during the round adds an additional four free spins.
Landing four FS scatters will award the Santa Claus is Coming to Town feature at the end of the current spin. If the remaining number of free spins is less than ten, you will enter the boosted bonus game with ten free spins; otherwise, you carry all your spins over with you.

You can also trigger the Santa Claus is Coming to Town bonus by landing four FS scatter symbols in the base game, entering the round with ten free spins.
During this bonus game, each reel can be activated by landing a Wild Santa symbol. Once a reel is activated, a Wild Santa symbol is guaranteed to land on that reel for all remaining free spins.
