Since returning to the Premier League in 2022/23, Fulham have more than held their own under manager Marco Silva and have established themselves as a team that belongs in English football’s top division once again.
The Cottagers quite rightfully wanted to restore the status they had not so many years ago, as just one of those teams you were used to seeing playing in the Premier League, and they have.
In their first three seasons since being promoted from the EFL Championship, Fulham finished 10th, 13th, and 11th and avoided relegation dogfights in each. Fulham are now an established English Premier League team, with extensive betting markets and great odds offered throughout the season at Parimatch Sportsbook.
Since returning to the top flight at the start of the 2023/24 season, Fulham have finished in the top half of the table once, securing a tenth-placed finish in that first season back with 52 points.
In the 2024/25 last season, Fulham accumulated 54 points but only managed an eleventh-place finish. So, in most other seasons, that would have been enough for them to secure their second top-half finish in three years.
Fulham's only outlier since returning to the Premier League was the 2023/24 season, in which they finished 13th with 47 points. Though slightly lower than where they wanted to be, this was sufficient for them to avoid a relegation battle.
So, there’s no doubt that Fulham can finish in the top half of the table now that they’re an established mid-table Premier League side, making them an attractive football betting offer.
It’s accurate to describe Fulham as a mid-table Premier League team, exemplified by their 10th, 13th, and 11th placed finishes across the last three campaigns.
So, while they can finish in the top half in 2025/26, they might fall just short again, particularly if they fail to keep hold of their star performers.
If you see Fulham finishing eleventh for a second consecutive Premier League season, you can bet on them to finish in the bottom half.
The 54 points Fulham won in 2024/25 was the club’s highest total in any Premier League season, though it wasn’t their highest finish.
In 2008/09, the Cottagers finished seventh with 53 points, which secured UEFA Europa League qualification for Roy Hodgson’s men. They also surpassed the 50-point mark in 2010/11 and 2022/23.
So, all Fulham fans will look back on the 2024/25 season as very successful, but will lament that, ordinarily, such a significant points haul would deliver a higher finish and potentially European football.
Raúl Jiménez ended the season as Fulham’s top scorer in the Premier League with 12 goals, almost matching the 14 goals that Aleksandar Mitrović netted in 2022/23 before moving to Saudi Arabia.
Fulham’s result of the season was undoubtedly the West London derby at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day. A last-minute Rodrigo Muniz goal secured Fulham their first win at the Bridge since October 1979.
Craven Cottage was somewhat of a fortress for Fulham, too, with the team beating Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool on home soil.
Fulham have never won a major trophy, which means they’ve never won the FA Cup. As one of English football’s traditional clubs, there is a determination to change that sooner rather than later.
Our FA Cup odds have Fulham installed as having an outside chance of winning the competition in 2024/25. While for some, this may appear highly unlikely, stranger things have happened in the FA Cup.
Fulham watched on as their London rivals, Crystal Palace, won the 2025 FA Cup at Wembley, showing that anything is possible in this fabulous old competition.
In the other domestic trophy, Newcastle United won the EFL Cup, beating Liverpool in the final in February.
These triumphs have inspired Fulham supporters to think, “Why not us?” If Marco Silva stays for the long run and gets the recruitment right, there’s no reason why Fulham can’t win a major trophy in the 2025/26 season or beyond.
Fulham have been in the habit of selling their best players for big profits since returning to the Premier League, and it’s a sensible business model that has allowed the club to reinvest throughout the squad.
For instance, Aleksandar Mitrović left London for Saudi Arabia in 2023, earning the club £50 million. Then, in 2024, João Palhinha signed for Bavarian giants Bayern Munich in a deal worth around £47.5 million.
To be fair to the board, much of the money has been reinvested in the first team. Last season, Emile Smith Rowe arrived from Arsenal for £27.5 million, while Fulham paid £20 million for Sander Berge and £25 million for Joachim Andersen.
With much business still to be done in the 2025/26 season, several high earners left Craven Cottage at the end of last season. Carlos Vinicius, Tom Cairney, and Willian were all released by Marco Silva to make way for younger players.
