Aside from the wilds that can substitute for regular pay symbols, there are also chain reactions, the namesake Clusterbuster, and a free spins bonus to unlock in the game.
Chain Reactions
Chain reactions are active on every base game spin. Whenever a winning combo lands, all involved symbols explode from the screen and make way for a tumble of new symbols. If they, too, form a winning cluster, the winning symbols will again explode, and the sequence repeats.
Clusterbuster
The Clusterbuster is at the heart of the bonus action in this medium-high volatility game, a 3x3 cluster of inactive tiles locked in the centre of the grid. The outer tiles of the cluster can be unlocked by creating winning clusters around them. Break all tiles on a single spin to open the cluster and reveal its prize.

Ancient Orbs
The different-coloured orbs above the reels represent the different game features that can be activated one at a time by opening the Clusterbuster.
When a feature is unlocked, it is triggered on the next spin. Once unlocked, features can randomly trigger on future spins.
Ancient Orbs are unlocked in the following order: green, blue, red, purple. Once all are unlocked, the next time the Clusterbuster is unlocked, the free spins scarab remains inside, awarding ten free spins each time it’s unlocked and freed from the cluster.
Ancient Orb features are as follows:
- Green Orb: When the green orb activates, one or more symbols of the same type will land as a 3x3 super symbol.
- Blue Orb: When the blue orb above the reels activates, one or more 3x3 super wilds will land.
- Red Orb: Drops a 3x3 scattering super wild. After the scattering suber wild participates in a win, it transforms into 9 scarabs that scatter around the reels and land as wild symbols in random positions.
- Purple Orb: Drops a 3x3 scattering multiplier super wild. After participating in a win, it transforms into 9 scarabs holding the same multiplier that scatter around the reels and land in random positions.
Free Spins Bonus
Every time the free spins scarab is released, it triggers the bonus, awarding ten free spins on a modified game grid that does not feature the Clusterbuster.
During the bonus, there is an increased chance of triggering one or more of the coloured orb features. At the end of the bonus, the free spins scarab is enclosed again and may be released back for future free spins.
