You’ll win if your cards are closer to 21 than the dealer. You lose if your cards exceed 21 or the dealer gets closer to 21 than you. If your cards are the same value as the dealer, it’s considered a ‘push,’ and your bet is returned. You will automatically lose if the dealer gets blackjack.

This is a very straightforward game of blackjack. So, there aren’t any special symbols to be aware of other than the card values introduced above.

In this blackjack variant, a winning hand pays out at 1:1. But if you win with blackjack, you will receive a payout of 3:2.

Although there aren’t any bonus features in Gamevy Blackjack, a couple of additional betting options are accessible to you during the game:

Split

If you're dealt two cards of the same value, including picture cards, you can split your hand to create two separate hands. To split a hand in blackjack, you must double your stake, and you’re only allowed to split once per hand per betting round.

When you split, you’ll be dealt another card for your first hand. You can then decide whether to stand or hit. You’ll then be dealt another card to your second hand. Again, you can choose how to proceed by standing or hitting. This continues until you’re happy with your hands or go bust.

It’s possible for one of your hands to win and the other to lose, depending on what the dealer ends up with. Equally, you could end up losing both hands, so make sure you consider this strategy carefully and adjust your bankroll accordingly.

Specific to this blackjack variant, you can’t hit on split aces.

Double

Once you’ve received your first two cards, you can double your bet if you think you have a strong hand. As you double your wager, you also double your payout if you win.
