If you like your sports with an element of danger, Speedway could be your new favourite. There’s no doubting that Speedway is the fastest and most dramatic form of motorcycle racing there is. With no brakes and one gear, speedway bikes are custom bikes designed for swift acceleration and extreme high-speed turns. Speedway riders are fearless, or just crazy.
Races are decided in four lightning-fast laps of the dirt track with plenty of thrills and spills along the way. We bring you all the blink-and-you-miss-it action from tracks all over the world, keeping you posted on all the top competitions and riders.
Once you get into Speedway you’ll never look back. And to enjoy Speedway Betting simply log into your Parimatch account. There you can take a look at our Speedway odds and betting markets for all the biggest competitions, including the Speedway World Championship.
The World Championship of Speedway is an international competition between the 15 highest-ranked motorcycle speedway riders in the world. After 10 rounds of Speedway Grand Prix events, the rider with the most points at the end of the season becomes the World Champion. And with races all over Europe, we’ll be following the action from country to country all season.
Poland’s Bartosz Zmarzlik has claimed the World Championship for the last two years, but there’s plenty of riders in the mix this year. Huge names in Speedway like Tai Woffinden, Emil Sayfutdinov, Leon Madsen and Fredrik Lindgren certainly won’t make it easy for Zmarzlik to claim three consecutive titles. All that’s left to do is strap yourself in and hold on tight!
We’ll bring you Speedway odds and betting markets from the first race to the last. You’ll never miss any of the World Championship action with Speedway Betting at Parimatch.
Speedway is unpredictable and dangerous at the best of times, so racing in the right weather conditions is essential. Most Speedway tracks don’t have cover, so good weather is important to ensure a fit track. Speedway races take place on dirt tracks which need to be maintained properly for the safety of the riders. Wet tracks are too heavy, but dry tracks are too dusty.
It’s not just the weather that makes Speedway one of the most nail-biting sports out there. Anything can happen out on the track, and that’s why we’ve got plenty of Speedway Betting markets to go at. Bet on the Speedway World Championship winner in our outrights betting markets or take a look at our each-way markets if you can’t decide on a winner.
There’s a reason Speedway’s motto is ‘no brakes, no gear, no fear’. Speedway bikes are built for tearing around the track at breakneck speed, but how do they stop? It’s true that Speedway bikes don’t have brakes – yeah we think that’s crazy too – but the riders are able to stop in case of emergency or lay their bike down on the track to avoid crashes.
At speeds of up to 80mph we certainly wouldn’t want to be on a bike with no brakes, but that’s all part of what makes Speedway one of the craziest but most exhilarating sports in the world. Bet on Speedway at Parimatch for all the latest odds.
