Excluding an amateur fixture in 1930, Poland and Austria have played each other ten times, with Poland winning six of these meetings and Austria triumphant in three. 

The nations have only ever met once at a major tournament finals; Austria co-hosted Euro 2008, but the home team could only muster a 1-1 draw with Poland in Vienna. It’s worth noting that Austria haven’t beaten Poland since 1994.
