The main event sees Leon Edwards go up against Colby Covington. Still, we can also look forward to Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett against Tony Ferguson in a hotly anticipated clash at lightweight.

The Birmingham-born Edwards defeated his nemesis Kamaru Usman in two brilliant bouts at UFC 278 and UFC 289, respectively. The Kazakh has some impressive recent wins under his belt, notably his round three submission victory against Geoff Neal on the undercard of UFC 285: Jones vs. Gane.   

British MMA fans will also be delighted to see Paddy Pimblett on the card at UFC 296. The “Baddy” faces up to American Tony Ferguson in another of the co-main events, with many fancying him to add his 21st career victory when he takes to the Octagon in Las Vegas.  

The pick of the prelims sees American Josh Emmett take on Giga Chikadze, while one of the early prelims sees Shamil Gaziev attempt to protect his unbeaten record as he fights Martin Buday. Ultimately, there’s much to look forward to in Las Vegas, and we can’t wait for UFC 296 to begin.
