There’s that feeling in the air. Cheltenham ante post talk is being murmured around the office, Willie Mullins is letting his stables loose, and Ireland hosts a feast of top names today. Yes, the jumps season is just round the corner. For the NAP, we have jumps meetings at Perth and Listowel. There’s also something for flats fans as cards are hosted at Goodwood, Kempton, and Redcar.
NAP of the Day
We head to the opener at Perth for the NAP. The current market leader, Tommys Law, is a horse that has been in my tracker for a while now. In his last two starts, back in Spring, the Lucinda Russell-trained horse greatly impressed and was unlucky to be pipped at the post both times.
Today, the C&D expert looks to take advantage of the weight she has on her nearest rival, Deploy to Spy. Indeed, the Bowen-ridden horse receives a 7lbs penalty for scoring in his last outing.
With both the weight and going in his favour, expect Tommys Law to get back to winning ways.
