Also known as the Spa Novices Hurdle, this race is, as the name suggests, open to novice hurdlers and horses 5 years old and up. Added to the Cheltenham Festival line up in 2005 this race has become a mainstay as it’s moved from being classed as a grade 2 race to a grade 1.
