When is the EFL Cup Final? 

The 2023/24 campaign has seen the 64th iteration of the English Football League (EFL) Cup final,  which was inaugurated as England’s second domestic cup competition in 1960. 

Now known as the Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons, the has now reached its final stage, with nine-time winners Liverpool set to face Chelsea at Wembley to determine the winner, 25th February 3pm kick-off, 25th February.

Chelsea have scored 13 goals in six games on their way to the final, including a 6-1 semi-final second leg win over Middlesbrough. 

As for Liverpool, they qualified for the Carabao Cup final by winning four of their five matches, in spite of drawing the second leg of their semi-final clash against Fulham. 

OK, we hear you ask, but when is the EFL Cup final? Well, this is scheduled to take place at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 25th February 2024. The match will kick off at 15:00 GMT, while extra time and penalties will be used to settle the contest if there isn’t a winner after 90 minutes.
